On the second Friday of every month the Museum opens its doors for a special after-hours event from 6:00-11:00 pm. Spy at Night offers exclusive evening access to the permanent exhibit and immersive experience Operation Spy, expert tradecraft demonstrations, spy skill challenges, espionage-themed music, and a full bar! Guests will immerse themselves in their own perfect mix of espionage activities; whether they choose to take on the role of a US intelligence officer on an international mission in Operation Spy or sharpen their spy skills with trivia and secret message deciphering contests or simply enjoy the permanent exhibit as a casual gallery-goer, the Museum’s numerous activities provide a lively mix of tradecraft and entertainment. No matter what adventure guests choose, at mission’s end, it’s bottoms up for everyone, a chance to debrief with fellow agents over a drink (shaken, not stirred, perhaps?). All Spy at Night tickets include a signature beverage and the chance to win additional prizes.
Each month will offer a different theme: you might learn Ninja moves, run surveillance, or even meet a real spy. The Museum Café will offer savory snacks for hungry operatives and the Museum store will be open for demos and specials so that everyone can leave with must-have spy gadgets.
February 10 will be Bond Night at Spy at Night! Guests can opt to participate in a 007 themed scavenger hunt through the galleries, try their hand at Bond trivia, or separate fact from fiction as they mingle with two real former intelligence agents! Guests who chose to come as their favorite Bond character will receive an extra 15% discount at the SPY Retail Store.
