Legacy gifts, also called planned gifts, expand your philanthropic capacity. Make a “cashless” gift now, which benefits the International Spy Museum in the future, without affecting your quality of life or limiting your ability to provide for your family. When you leave a charitable gift in your will, trust, or by beneficiary designation, you help ensure that the International Spy Museum remains a lasting institution, educating the public and sharing the important work of the intelligence communities worldwide.

All legacy gifts qualify for membership in the SPY Legacy Society and will be highlighted on our website, in our Annual Report, and receive invitations to exclusive SPY events.
Once the gift is received, if above $25,000, it will qualify for inclusion in the SPY Giving Circles, and your name will be added to the donor wall in the Museum’s lobby.
Theater seat plaques are $5,000 each and your donation is fully tax-deductible.

Ways to Make a Legacy Gift:
- A gift in your will (bequest)
You can specify an asset, an amount of money, or a percentage of your estate that will be given to the International Spy Museum by including the following sentence in your will; “I give and bequeath to the International Spy Museum or its successor [specific asset, dollar amount, or percentage of estate] for the benefit of the International Spy Museum.”
- List the International Spy Museum as the beneficiary of your:
- IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other retirement plan
- Brokerage Account
- Life Insurance Policy
- Donor Advised Fund (DAF)
