Costa, a former intelligence officer of 34 years with 25 of those in active duty in hot spots such as Panama, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq is also a past Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism on the National Security Council. He will be joined by Malcolm W. Nance, counterterrorism expert, policy adviser, and media commentator.

He is author of The Terrorist Recognition Handbook, The Terrorists of Iraq: The Strategy and Tactics of the Iraq Insurgency, An End to al-Qaeda: Destroying Bin Laden’s Jihad, the New York Times best-seller Defeating ISIS: Who They Are, How They Fight, What They Believe, and The Plot to Destroy Democracy: How Putin and His Spies are Undermining America and Dismantling the West among other books.
