Calling all Girl Scouts! Celebrate Women’s History Month with the International Spy Museum and learn about the Sisterhood of Spies. 

Girl Scout Patch 2021

Explore the fascinating history of women in espionage and meet former female practitioners with the International Spy Museum! Girl Scouts will test their spy skills and learn tricks of the trade. Special guests will share their knowledge about the shadow world of spying and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. Ticket price provides access to virtual workshop and programs throughout the day on Zoom. Designed for Brownies - Senior Girl Scouts. 

Schedule of Events:

11:00-11:10 - Welcome from the International Spy Museum

11:10-11:45 - Meet Sonia Purnell, author of A Woman of No Importance: The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II, and learn about Virginia Hall

11:50-12:35 - International Spy Museum Gadget workshop with Jonna Mendez, former CIA Chief of Disguise

12:40-1:15- Meet Liza Mundy, author of Code Girls: The True Story of the American Women Who Secretly Broke Codes in World War II, and learn about the female code breakers of World War II

1:20-2:00 Meet Tracy Walder, former CIA and FBI and author of The Unexpected Spy

 

*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A VIRTUAL PROGRAM and is not hosted onsite at the Museum. 

• Each Girl Scout attending must purchase a ticket

• Program tickets are non-refundable

• Zoom connection information will be sent closer to program date

• A Sisterhood of Spies fun patch may be purchased through our retail store. The patch is not included in the ticket price.
