Our 7th Floor Ballroom is the perfect location for weddings expecting 120-160 guests! With 14’ windows overlooking the Southwest Potomac, the Washington Monument and U.S. Capitol, you truly get it all! With all of your wedding aspects held on one floor, your guests are able to simply arrive and celebrate each moment as the evening unfolds.

Looking for the perfect sunset over the city during your ceremony? With a guest count between 50-120, you can enjoy the view from our Rooftop Terrace and catch the sun setting over The Wharf and Potomac River from the South portion of our Ballroom.

Yes. SPY requires clients, as well as all vendors, to carry insurance with fixed requirements. Our team can assist with the specifications during your planning process.

Yes, candles are permitted as long as they are enclosed in glass (i.e. votives, hurricanes)
We also allow for ceremonial flames for religious ceremonies, with notice. Make sure to let your planning team know!
SPY has one Green Room onsite, available at the start of the vendor set up time.
We require the use of one of our Approved Caterers for our events. If you are looking to serve a specific type of cuisine, we recommend contacting our Approved Caterers about a Pass Through Service. This means that our Approved Caterer will contract with a food provider directly to secure what you are looking for.
