Identity Transformation Kit (recreation), US (CIA), 1960s-1970s

This is a recreation of the “identity transformation” field kit that John Chambers and his assistants, Thomas R. Burman and Michael Westmore, created for the CIA. The lockable Monarch brand hard briefcase opens to reveal a battery-operated lighted makeup mirror that could be powered by an automotive cigarette lighter adapter.

The kit included Max Factor Pan-Cake makeup for various skin tones, facial hair, brushes, and other disguise elements to make latex overhead masks more realistic.
