Fairbairn-Sykes Knife and Leather Scabbard | c.1942
British Captain W.E. Fairbairn helped design this knife's unusual triangular, double-edged blade (Gift of the H. Keith and Karen Melton Collection) based on his pre-WWII experience in Shanghai. Built for precision, it became known for its effectiveness in close combat and was widely used by British commandos during WWII.
