Enigma No. B207 Cipher Machine

1937, Germany

I’m an Enigma in Every Sense of the Word.

I am the only one of my kind left. A secret version of Germany’s renowned World War II encryption machine. There were once 24 of us. Now it’s only me. We B-series Enigmas were wired differently to make us even more secure and our plugboard markings are red, not black. Many say we were used by Germany’s top military leaders—perhaps even at Adolf Hitler’s headquarters. I couldn’t say. After all, secret history is meant to be secret.
