Join us for an online discussion of the latest intelligence, national security, and terrorism issues in the news. Spy Museum Executive Director Chris Costa will lead the briefing. Costa a former intelligence officer of 34 years with 25 of those in active duty in hot spots such as Panama, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq is also a past Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism on the National Security Council. He will be joined by Spy Museum Honorary Board Member Douglas H. Wise. 

Wise is the former Deputy Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). At the DIA, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a 20,000 employee, global defense enterprise supporting senior Defense and National policymakers and the war fighting commands. This post was a Joint Duty Assignment as a finale to his career as a CIA Senior Intelligence Service officer in the Clandestine Service with four tours as a Chief of Station. He retired from the CIA after nearly three decades of service in 2016. 

Wise is a strategic advisor and risk identification/risk mitigation expert and serves on several corporate boards. Wise spends significant time providing interagency leadership and clandestine tradecraft training as well as role playing as a chief of station for special operations warriors. He is also an Adjunct Professor in the National Security Studies Program at the University of New Mexico.
