Spy Fest: Tradecraft Try-Its
Sunday, 18 May; 10–11 am or 11 am – 12 noon or 12 noon – 1 pm

Could you be a spy? Now’s your chance to find out!

Sitting in your comfy chair watching James Bond makes spy tradecraft look easy—now’s your chance to find out if you could be the next 007. Do you have the savvy to beat a lie-detector, the smarts to break a top secret coded message, the wits to create secret writing, and the moves of a Ninja? Families are invited to try all this and more at the Museum’s first ever Spy Fest. Mini-missions, tradecraft demonstrations, and tradecraft try-its will allow KidSpy recruits and their “handlers” to get an insider’s peek into the shadow world of spying.

Ages: 7 and up with an adult* • Tickets: $12 per participant • Members of The Spy Ring ® (Join Today!): $10 per person.

*KidSpy workshops are specifically designed for the age range listed. If your child is not age appropriate, we will be unable to accommodate them. Please note that program tickets are non-refundable.

Space is limited—advance registration required.

“…if it serves a greater good, it is okay to lie. It is okay to mislead people if you are doing it in the service of your country, but it is never okay to lie or mislead people for your personal benefit.” – Carleton Ames, father of Aldrich Ames, telling his son the truth about working for the CIA
