Intrigue at the Willard InterContinental: The Cherry Blossom Case

Thursday, 10 April; 6–8:30 pm

Cherry blossom time, Spies in the shadowy spring, Intrigue in the air.

Springtime in Washington brings more than beautiful blossoms and busloads of tourists; it also provides the perfect cover for enemy operatives working a Washington angle. SPY’s network of agents has gathered reliable intelligence that a ring of spies is operating in DC with a very specific target in mind. An elite team under the leadership of former CIA chiefs of disguise, Tony and Jonna Mendez, is needed to determine what the spy ring is after and how it can be prevented from compromising national, and possibly international, security. Join the team and be put through your spring spy paces during this action-packed spy adventure in the historic halls of the Willard InterContinental Hotel. Your challenge will be to blend into the hotel’s cherry blossom displays while shadowing suspects in Peacock Alley and listening for suspicious whispers at the Round Robin Bar. All your wit and spy savvy will be required as you gather intelligence, conduct surveillance, and do on-the-spot analysis.

Co-sponsored by the Willard InterContinental Hotel in celebration of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

Tickets: $65 • Friends of the Willard and Members of The Spy Ring® (Join Today!): $60. Space is limited—advance registration required.

Phone registration only for this program, call 202.654.0932.
